IMPORTANT NOTICE

OB Billing Changes for 2027

If you are scheduled to deliver in 2027, changes to CMS billing guidelines will affect how your maternity care is billed.

WHAT'S CHANGING

Currently, prenatal visits, delivery, and postpartum care are billed as one global package. Beginning in September, prenatal visits will be billed separately if you are expected to deliver in 2027. You can expect to see individual charges listed on your EОВ.

WHAT'S NOT CHANGING

Your care will not change – only the way it is billed. You will continue to receive the same prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care from your OBGYN team.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please speak with your care team at your next visit or contact our billing office directly
