Requests for prescription refills will only be accepted during office hours so that your records will be available to review. For your convenience all obstetric patients are given a list of over-the-counter medications that can be taken during pregnancy. Please refer to this list before calling for advice.
We will address prescription refill requests within 24 hrs unless it is the weekend. Please note, we are closed on Friday afternoons, so Friday prescription requests will at times be handled the following Monday.
We will not refill your prescriptions if you have not seen us for your last GYN exam. If this is a brand new prescription, you may need to be seen in our office before we can send it in. If there are any problems or questions, we will contact you prior to calling a prescription in.
If you are scheduled to deliver in 2027, changes to CMS billing guidelines will affect how your maternity care is billed.
