Hannah Reid obtained her bachelor’s in nursing at Kennesaw State University, and her Master of Science at Georgia State University with a focus in family practice and primary care. She completed training in the intensive care unit, dialysis, women’s health, internal medicine, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Hannah also worked as a public health nurse for Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale counties.
When asked why she chose women’s health as a career path, Hannah replied, “I really like the feeling I get when I teach someone something new about their health.” She continued, “Sometimes it can be scary to ask questions about your body, but I like to create an environment that is open and relaxing so that you can leave feeling good about the care and education you receive.”
In her free time, you will find Hannah writing children’s book, gardening, or fishkeeping. When not indulging in these hobbies, she is learning to speak proficiently in Korean and Vietnamese so that she will be able to communicate with her patients and blended family better.
